Sandbox Global Exchange program provides academic, professional, volunteer and
cultural exchange opportunities for individuals interested in gaining dynamic
experiences in the development and social enterprise sector. Employing a vision
of multi-faceted exchange, SGE gives passionate and talented individuals a
social development platform from which they can catalyze change. This program offers a unique international
prospective for students, faculty and young professionals that at the same time ensures continued impact for partner organizations and their constituents. All participants of the program will gain
valuable professional experience and insight only available through direct
community and cultural interaction.

Mission:
The mission of the Global
Exchange Program is to promote cultural exchange through a continuous,
sustainable and scalable international exchange program that connects relevant
expertise with vital perspectives only available through close community
engagement.
The overall program is broken down into three main categories:
Internal Fellowships:
The Sandbox Global Exchange Program connects individuals with the Deshpande Foundation and its partners where individuals are placed in specific sectors or projects for a predetermined period of time.
External Fellowships:
The Sandbox Global Exchange Program facilitates the opportunity for individuals to work with various institutions and programs in affiliation with the Deshpande Foundation.
